Instructions for the smaller coaster (about ${\pmb{\upvarepsilon}}^{\mathbf{n}}$ in diameter)
cast on 150 stitches. You will only knit - no purling in this pattern! Knit one row Next row: leave 5 stitches unknitted - just knit 145 stitches, than turn In the next row knit 140 stitches, turn. Next row knit only 135 stitches, turn. Knit until you have only 110 stitches left for knitting. In the next row knit all stitches to the end of this row (130 stitches), turn. Last row before binding off - knit all 150 stitches. Now you have such a weird-looking piece of knitting. Just use your threads to sew it together to a perfect spiral. And than felt it in your washing machine and you are done!

Instructions for the larger Coaster:
·cast on 250 stitches ●You knit it following the same principal - just change the numbers of stitches you leave unknitted per row: 0 2 times 6 stitches 03 times 5 stitches 0 o, you knit until you have lft only 196 stitches for kniting
