amare per sempre
Requirements:
Knitting socks before, chart reading, knowing knitting abbreviations, Size: M - normal calf
Material:
Wollmeise Twin 80/20 (311 m/100 g) 10 gramms of a contrasting color (heart) DPN 2,5 mm or 3,0 mm (if you knit tight!) 1 cable needle
abbreviations:
st = stitch(es) k = knit P = purl \* = repeat

Cuff:
Cast on 56 M, close to round and knit the following sceme: Round 1: k2, p2 Knit 15 rounds.
Leg:
Work the pattern after chart! Make sure you don't forget the m1 in the set up row (= 15 st per needle; total = 58 st). Work the chart until 28th round or to desired length (continue the chart logically).
Heel flap:
The heel is worked on needle 4 and 1 in the same way the pattern is worked for this needles in the leg pattern. Work 30 rows.
Heel tuin:
The heel turn is knitted from the middle of the heel stitches and starts with a forth row. 1st row (forth row): k14, k1, k2tog tbl, k1, turn work 2"d row (back row): sl1 p-wise, p3, p2tog, p1, turn work 3rd row (forth row): sl1 k-wise, k4 (til slipped st), k2tog tbl, k1, turn work 4th row (back row): sl1 p-wise, p5 (til slipped st), p2tog, k1, turn work Work rows 3 and 4 until all st are worked.
Gussets:
After the heel turn, pick up st from the heel flap to work the gussets. Pick up and knit one st between the little knots at the end of each row along the other side of the heel flap. NoTE: The pattern is worked on needle 2 and 3! Knit a round on every needle (after pattern on needle 2 and 3!!) before you start with the gussets. Needle 1: k all st ,til the last 3 st, k2tog, k1 Needle 4: k1, ssk, k 'til the end of needle The gusset is worked after every second row until there are 14 st on needle 1 and 4!
Foot:
Work the pattern after chart (Needle 2 and 3). Knit all st from needle 1 and 4 from now on. Work the pattern until ca. 9 cm before the end of your feet. The Abschlussmotiv (= a little 2-2 cable) in row 28 should be the end of your knitting! It will give a nicer switchover to the toe. The center part of the chart (stitches 10 - 21) can be ended with a ,4v" or ,4h", but it also doesn't matter, if you cannot finish this with the "Abschlussmotiv". You can also do a "4v" or "4h" when you knit the toe 2 or 3 rows later.
Joe:
Work the toe (needle 2 and 3) after chart. After this you can start with the gussets for the toe. 1st row: k all st 2nd (gusstes-)row: Needle 1: k all st ,til the last 3 st, k2tog, k1 Needle 2: k1, ssk, k 'til the end of needle Needle 3: k all st ,til the last 3 st, k2tog, k1 Needle 4: k1, ssk, k 'til the end of needle Alternate toe rounds 1 & 2 until 6 st remain on each needle (= 24 st total). Now work on every needle the decrease row! Repeat the decrease row until there are only 2 st (= 8 st total) left on each needle. Use the Kitchener stitch to close up the toe or just pull the yarn through the remained st. Weave in all loose end!
Jhe heait:
The special clou in this regard is the little heart on top of the toe. Embroider the heart after chart. For those who don't know how to do it, there is a link to a little instruction video.
