Say it once, say twice, third time's a charm... Black and White Striped Fingerless Mitts, Coupled with a delicate Red Lace Bell Frill. Completely inspired by the film Beetlejuice.

Materials

-One 50 gram ball each of white, black, and red fingering weight yarn. Sample was knit with Knit Picks Palette in the color ways; Black, White, and Serrano -Size 1 (5) double pointed needles -Stitch Markers (optional)

Gauges

8 sts and 12rows over thebroken ribstitch stretched 8 Sts and 12 rows over the lace pattern Stitch Glossary Broken Rib Pattern Round 1 knit Rounds 2-4 Knit 2, Purl 2 K2tog- knit 2 stitches together SSK- slip, slip, knit YO- yarn over S2KP-slip 1, knit 2 together, pass slipped stitch over the knit 2 together.

Instructions (make 2)

With Black cast on 72 stitches, join in round being careful not to twist the stitches. Distribute 18 stitches on each doublepointed needle. Work 3 rows of K2, P2 rib. \*Switch to white, work one repeat of the broken rib pattern. Change to Black, work one repeat of the broken rib pattern.\* Repeat between \*and\* eight more times. You will have 10 Black Stripes and 9 White Stripes. The Mitts should measure 5 % inches long. Change to Red, work lace chart 4 times per round. Bind Off knit wise.
