Dewdrop Scarf
The design for this scarf came about when I wanted to use up three balls of lovely alpaca and make a long scarf. Every time I make a scarf it's too short, just a stubby little tail I wanted something I could loop around my neck, like my mother-in-law models below. Thus, I came up with a somewhat skinny scarf with an easy lace pattern and roling edges forthe loop. If you Want to avoid the stockinette roling, just do three garter stitches at each edge. Have fun! Materials: \*3 ballsofPlymouth BabyAlpaca Brush (2 in main colorand 1 in contrast colr) \* One set of sze 10 straight needles \* Tapestry needle(to weave in ends) Gauge: Don't worry about it too much, it's just a scarf!

Knit on right side, Purl on wrong side 一 Purl on right side, Knit on wrong side Yarn Over 入 SI 1, K2tog, PSSO 入 SI1, K1, PSSO 人K2TogNo Stitch
Directions:
Cast on 37 stitches on size 10 needles in main color (MC)yarn. Knit six rows, to create three garter stitch ridges. Begin dewdrop pattem rpeat. Continue untilyou are close to running out of the main color (MC) yarn and have finished the last row of the repeat. Begin knitting in plain stockinete tch (nit on rght side, purl on wrong), alowing the edges ofthe materialto roll in to create a cylindrical look Use allofthe contrast coloryarn (C) Switch to MC yarn again on wrong side. Begin Dewdrop Lace pattern again. When yarn beginstorun low, endat thelast row oftherepeat.Knit sixrows straihtfothre ridef garter stitch.
