Construction
CO 56 [64, 72] stitches. Distribute on DPNs and join, being careful not to twist. Work in k1, p1 ribbing for four rounds, then work one round as follows: \*k 5 [6, 7], k2tog\* seven times,end k7 [8, 9]-51 [57,65] stitches. Switch to stockinette stitch and begin thumb gusset: Round 1: k1, pm, k around.
