Hudson's Bay-Beg Blanket By Anne G.

As a proud Canadian, I have a special fondness for the iconic white blankets with stripes of green, red, yellow and indigo. They have been around since the late 1700's and can still be purchased at selected Hudson's Bay Company Stores. Here is my version of a worsted weight, stocking and seed stitch, baby-sized Bay blanket.
Materials
· 5mm (8 Us) needles (Il used 40" circular needles) Approx. 620 m (680 yards) of Red Heart Soft in white Approx. 50 m(55 yards) of Vanna's Choice Solids in Navy, Mustard, Cranberry and Kelly green. \* I used two different brands of yarn to get the colours I wanted with what was available at the store. As long as the weight is similar, it shouldn't be a problem.
