Basic Baby Booties

Beginner Pattern: 0-6 months Pattern by Mellony Bester, Susie J Crochet www.facebook.com/susiejcrochet

Materials

Crochet hooks: 3.50mm (E), 3.75mm (F) hook and 4.50mmhook Yarn needle 8ply/ light worsted/ DK weight yarn or yarn to fit gauge

Special Instructions

Moving join: The first stitch of each round should be made into the first st which does not have the slst from the previous round. Where the first stitch should me made is indicated by the yellow arrow in the picture to the right. → The red arrow indicates where the last stitch of each round should be made. This will create a join which goes diagonally to the left. This is how it is meant to look and the pattern won't work without it. Left and right: Pattern is the same for both the left and right shoe so make two shoes. To distinguish left and right shoes sew the toe décor to one side of one shoe and the other side to the next. Ch1: The first chain of each round does not count as a stitch.
