Pattern Instructions

Cast-on 96 stitches with MC Being careful not to twist, place marker and join in the round. Knit 5 rounds K2, P2 Knit 2 rounds Knit 2 rounds CC Knit 2 rounds MC Work Simple Snowflake Chart Knit 2 rounds MC Knit 2 rounds CC Knit 2 rounds MC Break CC yarn

Begin Decreasing for the crown.

Round 1 Knit 14 K2tog, repeat around. Round 2 Knit (repeat every even round) Round 3 Knit 13, K2tog, repeat around. Round 5 Knit 12, K2tog, repeat around. Round 7 Knit 11, K2tog, repeat around. Round 9 Knit 10, K2tog, repeat around. Round 11 Knit 9, K2tog, repeat around. Round 13 Knit 8, K2tog, repeat around. Round 15 Knit 7, K2tog, repeat around. Round 17 Knit 6, K2tog, repeat around. Round 19 Knit 5, K2tog, repeat around. Round 21 Knit 4, K2tog, repeat around. Round 23 Knit 3, K2tog, repeat around. Round 25 Knit 2, K2tog, repeat around. Round 27 K2tog, repeat around.

Finishing

Cut the yarn leaving a 12" tail, thread it through the remaining stitches to close the top. Weave in ends. Block hat to even out stitches.
