DIRECTIONS
Casting On
Cast on 64 sts; using an elastic cast on. Divide sts on 3 needles $>>>$ N1 & N2 = 22 sts each. N3 = 20sts.
Cuff Rib
k2, p2 rib for 10 rounds as follows. $\mathrm{N}1=\mathrm{k}2$ $\mathrm{{}^{\ast}p2}$ , k2, repeat from \* to end. $\mathrm{{N}2=p2}$ , \* k2, p2, repeat from \* to end. $\mathrm{N3}=\mathrm{k2}$ , p2 rib to end. Redistribute sts as follows -: Move 1 st from N3 to N1, move 1 st from N2 to N1 & move 1 st from N2 to N3. $>>>{\bf N}1=24$ sts. N2 & ${\bf N}3=.$ 20sts each. There will be single purl sts at each end of all needles.
Cuff
Round 1 pl, \* yf, sl2, p2, k2, p2, repeat from \* until 7 sts remain of the round, yf, s2, p2, k2, pl. Round 2 pl, $\mathrm{}^{\ast}\mathrm{k}2$ p2, repeat from \* to last 3 sts, k2, pl. Round 3 pl, \* k2, p2, yf, sl2, p2,repeat from \* until 7 sts remain of the round, k2, p2, yf, sl2, pl. Round 4 repeat round 2. Repeat this four row pattern 14 more times. Repeat rounds 1-3 once more

Next round Pattem 19 sts as follows pl, k2, p2 rib, ending with k2. Place remaining 5 sts of N1 onto N2 without knitting them. $>>>\mathrm{Nl}\mathrm{~=~}19\mathrm{st}$ $\mathrm{N2}=25$ sts. $\mathrm{N3}=20\mathrm{sts}$ Next round Turn and continue to work on sts on N1. sll, pl5, p2tog, pl, stillusing Nl pl5 sts from N3. Place remaining 5sts of N3 onto N2 without knitting them. $>>>\mathrm{{Nl}=33s t}$ S $\mathrm{{N2}=30s t s}$ Round 1 \*sll, kl, repeat from \* to last st, kl. Round 2 sll. p to end. Round 3 sl2, $^{\ast}\mathrm{kl}$ , sll, repeat from \* to last st, k1. Round 4 repeat round 2. Repeat this four row pattern 7 more times.
Turning the heel
Next row k22, ssk, turn. Row 2 k12, ssk, turn. Repeat rows 1 & 2 until allsts are worked into shaping and 13 sts remain ending with a purl row. Next rowk7
Gusset and Foot

Next Round $\mathrm{N}1=\mathrm{k}$ N2 $=$ round 4 of instep sts, $\mathrm{N3}=\mathrm{k}$ Next Round $\mathrm{N}1=\mathrm{k}$ to last 3 sts, k2tog, kl. N2 $=$ round 1 of instep sts, $\mathrm{N3=kl}$ , ssk, $\mathrm{k\Omega}$ to end. Repeat these four rounds another 3 times until 63 sts remain. $>>>\mathrm{Nl}\mathrm{~=~}16\mathrm{sts}$ $\mathrm{N2}=30$ sts, $\mathrm{N3}=17$ sts

Round 1 & Round 3 $p2$ , k2 rib to last 2 sts, p2 Roumd 2 p2, \* k2, p2, yf, sl2, p2, repeat from \* to last 4 sts. k2, p2. Round 4 \* p2, yf, sl2, p2, k2, repeat from \* to last 6 sts. p2, yf, sl2, p2.
Foot
Continue with pattern as set above but omit decreases. N1 & $\mathrm{N3-k}$ ${\bf N}2=$ instep st rows; beginning with round 2. Continue until work measures $2^{\circ}/5\mathrm{cm}$ less than desired foot length.
Toe
Redistribute the sts on needles as follows -- Move 1 st from N1 to $\mathbf{N}2\,\&$ move 1 st from N3 to N2. $>>>\mathrm{Nl}\mathrm{~=~}15\mathrm{s}$ ts, $\mathrm{N2}=32\mathrm{sts}$ , $\mathrm{N3}=16$ sts. Round 1 $\mathrm{N}1-\mathrm{k}=15\mathrm{s}$ ts. $\mathrm{N2=kl}$ , ssk, k to last 3 sts, k2tog, k1. $=$ 30sts $\mathrm{N}3=\mathrm{k}1$ , ssk, k to end $=$ 1 5sts. Round 2 k to end. Round $3\,\mathrm{Nl}=\mathrm{k}$ to last 3sts, k2tog, k1. $\mathrm{N2=kl}$ , ssk, k to last 3 sts, k2tog, k1. $\mathrm{N}3=\mathrm{k}1$ , ssk, k to end. Repeat rounds 2 and 3 until 16 sts remain.
