Extra Warm Kureyon Wristers

Materials: One skein Noro Kureyon Gauge: 6 sts/inch These wristers fit quite snugly so are designed with negative ease. They are knit at a tight gauge for extra warmth! The Medium will comfortably fit a 5-6 inch hand circumference and the Large will comfortably fit a 7-8 inch hand circumference 1 circular needle size US #4 (3.5 mm) or size to obtain gauge I used magic loop but 2 circs or DPNs can be substituted Size Medium (Large) Cast on 32 (36) Join to knit in the round being careful not to twist Work 2x2 rib for 25 rows or desired length (approximately 3 inches) Knit 8 (10) rounds even Next row: k6, PM, M1, K2, M1, PM K to end Using a M1, increase 2 sts every other round until there are 12 (14) sts between markers, work even 1 additional round Place 12 (14) sts on stitch holder and resume knitting in rounds. Continue in stockinette for 8 (10) rounds - increasing 2 sts before continuing round, increasing back to the original 32 or 36 sts Change to $2\mathbf{x}2$ rib for 6 (8) rounds then bind off - I prefer to bind off in knit because I like the smooth chain that is formed. Be careful not to bind off too tightly or it will be difficult to move your fingers Place thumb stitches on 3 dpns, picking up 2 (4) sts in thumb gusset Work 4 rounds in stockinette then after decreasing 2 (2) sts, switch to $2\!\times\!2$ rib for 6 rounds Bind off
