This one is done in the Volcan Colour #227 Gauge of yarn: 1 to 13 sts = 4 inches, Final product was 24 inches long and 6.5 inches tall with my tension and needle choice. Yours may vary slightly depending on your choices of needles and your tension. My gauge was 13 stitches and 20 rows with stocking stitch in 4 inches. Needle: I used a 7 mm or a 10.75 US needle to work this pattern. Adjust your tension or needle size to accommodate the gauge. This pattern in done in the round and instructions are all with right side facing you. If you want to work it on straight needles you will have to change the pattern, just remember to always look at the pattern on the right side as follows: Cast on 75 Stitches. Work 2 rows of garter stitch for the ribbing. Row 1 & 2: Knit Row 3 & 4: Purl Row 5, 6 & 7: Knit Row 9: \*Knit 1, yrn (yarn round needle), Knit 2 together\* repeat \* to \* to end. Row 10: Purl Repeat Row 1 to 10, two more times (3 total) Continue in pattern with: Rows 31 & 32: Knit Rows 33 & 34: Purl Rows 35 & 36: Knit Row 37: Purl Row 38: Knit Row 39: Cast off in purl stitch so that you get a nice purl edge at the end.
