Pattern - Finishing:

Arrange both halves on needles with WRONG sides together and needle points facing to your right. With a third needle, perform a 3-needle bind-off. (This can be a little fiddly, so you might want no distractions.) Weave in all ends. Scarf can be blocked prior to the bind-off or after, depending upon your space. Blocking is recommended to open up the pattern.

Key:

K = knit p = Purl YO = yarn over k2tog = knit 2 sts together Ssk = slip, slip, knit PM = place marker (slipping them as you come to them) X= times 3-Needle Bind-Off: Have halves on two needles parallel to each other with points pointing to the right. 2. Insert the third needle through the first stitch on each needle, as to knit, and knit the two stitches together and off the needle. 3. With two stitches on right needle, pass first stitch over second stitch, like you do in a "standard" bindOff. 4. Continue to the last stitch, cut yarn and pull through remaining loop.
