Yarn: 200g dk yarn in MC, 50g dk yarn in CC Tension: not critical Hook. 4mm Note: Main panel worked back and forth in rows, edging worked in rounds. Main panel: Using MC, ch 21 Row 1: dc in 2nd ch from hook, and allfoll chs. 21 dc. Row 2: ch 4 (counts as 1 tr + 1 ch) \*sk 1 dc, tr in next dc, ch1\* repeat from \* to \* across the row, sk 1 dc, tr in turning ch (counts a5 a st Row 3 and all odd (RS) rows: ch1 (counts as 1 dc) 1 dc in each ch and tr across row , careful not to miss 3rd ch at end of row (21 dc) Row 4: ch 6 (counts as 1 tr tr + 1 ch) \*sk 1 dc, tr tr in next dc, ch1\* repeat from \* to \* across the row, sk 1 dc, tr tr in top of turning ch.

Rows 2, 3, 4, 5 form pattern. Finish with Row 3. Do not fasten off.
Edging: Round 1: ch1, dc down left side as follows: 1 dc into side of each dc, 2 dcs over each tr, 4 dcs over each tr tr. In corner ch, 3 dc. Now dc across bottom, 1 dc into each ch bump. 4 dc in last ch bump (3 for corner, 1 for side). dc up right side as for left side, 3 dc into final ch at top, dc across top row, 2 dc in last st, sl st to top of ch to join. Fasten off. Round 2: Join CC in sl st, ch 1, 1 dc into each dc around (3 dc into corner dcs) sl st into top of ch. Round 3:ch 4 (counts as 1 tr + 1 chj \*sk 1 dc, tr in next dc, ch1\* repeat around, but ALSO, in each corner dc [tr ch 3 tr] sl st to top of 3rd ch to join. Round 4 : ch 1, dc in each tr and ch, in each corner ch 3 dc. Sl st to top of first ch to join. Fasten off. Finishing: weave in all ends. wash and block gently.
